About Me

Hello, there! I’m Abby! I’m a fashion designer from Philadelphia. I love to design clothes that emphasize function while still looking chic and exciting. From thoughtful pockets to vibrant fabrics, I design clothes that celebrate the wearer. I’m often inspired by my love of the sciences and combining it with my own personal experience as a queer woman. The world fascinates me, and I love to understand it through the mixture of science and art.

My design process is heavily driven by research and iteration. My concepts are built through the combination of written research, collages, and drawings. I use my artistic skills to jot down all of my various ideas in the form of simplified drawings. This allows me to properly visualize my thoughts and decide which ideas to flesh out more fully. From there, I do an array of complete illustrations that I can narrow down to my final designs. Then I move into the tech pack.

I enjoy creating technical flats, complete with detailed callouts, as well as folding ways and the rest of the tech pack paperwork. My background in paperwork compliance and artistic skills make clear visual and written communication my specialty.
